FY 2025 CoC Annual NOFO - Paused
🚨 WIREGRASS CoC (AL-508) FUNDING UPDATE
HUD has officially withdrawn the FY2025 CoC Program NOFO (posted December 8, 2025). The funding opportunity has also been removed from Grants.gov.
HUD plans to revise the NOFO to align with new federal funding priorities. Until those revisions are released, there is no active competition.
➡️ The Wiregrass CoC (AL-508) is pausing our local competition.
➡️ No deadlines are in effect at this time.
Please note that HUD’s notice states its intent to reissue the NOFO on a timely basis to support policy changes reflected in the revised version. To this end, we encourage potential applicants and communities to continue the work already underway — developing new program models, building required community partnerships, and identifying local needs and service gaps — to better respond to any future HUD CoC NOFOs.
ESG Funding
The Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) program is designed to provide financial assistance and support to help prevent homelessness, provide emergency shelter, and facilitate the rapid re-housing of individuals and families who are homeless. The ESG Program is designed to assist people with quickly regaining stability in permanent housing after experiencing a housing crisis and/or homelessness.
