Wiregrass CoC announces the opening of the FY2025 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program local competition. Competition materials, timelines, and instructions for project applications are now available.

• Local competition announced

November 25 – December 14, 2025
• Application period open
• Applicants prepare project information (entry into e-snaps begins once HUD opens competition)

• All project applications must be entered in e-snaps (not submitted to HUD)

December 15–18, 2025
• Local review of project applications

December 19, 2025
• Priority Listing posted

December 22, 2025
• Appeals due

• Final Priority Listing approved by CoC Board

ESG Funding
​The Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) program is designed to provide financial assistance and support to help prevent homelessness, provide emergency shelter, and facilitate the rapid re-housing of individuals and families who are homeless. The ESG Program is designed to assist people with quickly regaining stability in permanent housing after experiencing a housing crisis and/or homelessness.
